There are scenes where other characters need a moment - you see Thor and Captain America's fatigue in that final battle - though I don't know if that's quite the same thing.
Overall, I do think the movie got a lot of things right, and I did like Black Widow's character. But yeah. That line in particular was hurtful, and was *unnecessarily* so -- there were plenty of other ways to write that scene, so why choose this one?
