First LOL Book in Two Years!

The last time I did a LOL Book was April of 2010. But then I was browsing through some of Vonda McIntyre’ old blog posts at Book View Cafe, came across this cover, and was inspired…

I assume that's Warrior's Apprentice? If so, it's actually oddly fitting. There's Miles, with a manic grin and a fake uniform. Forward momentum is key!

It could be, but I'm not sure.

Hm ... maybe, but I think there's a line between manic grin and deranged Joker grin, and this looks more like the latter to me.

I think that's what he's supposed to look like towards the end. His crew was certainly pretty worried about his mental health.

Other than he looks nothing like Miles, who's rather physically distinctive; that's not the uniform of the mercenary fleet he was with (or his own planet's space fleet), and the ship is not supposed to be purple.
