I had planned to attend WFC 2015 because I went to the last WFC in Saratoga and loved it. I was reluctant to pay a ton of money though because a) at first, I couldn't find any anti-harassment policy at all b) I just had a baby in July and knew I probably wouldn't be able to go. LASTFA always does things pretty last minute, so I don't think the timing of announcing this policy was a malicious way of getting out of issuing refunds for people who object to it as some people are saying on Pretty Terrible. Albacon (LASTFA's con) doesn't seem to have an anti-harassment policy either, which makes me sad because it's my local con and I used to attend every year, but I refuse to attend cons without anti-harassment policies now.
