He seems extraordinarily out of touch with the younger writers, not to mention the sfwa members of color -- he seems to not even know they exist -- not to mention the rest of the country, who don't live in a small Texas town, but in large cities with lots of friends from different cultures. That's what diversity means. He thinks it means -- what?
