It's interesting the way people process grief, but everyone is different. One friend of mine lost his wife after a long struggle with cancer about five or six years ago. Another lost his wife with no warning to a toxic drug interaction, just *poof* she was gone. The first one has had zero relationship success, the second remarried just before the pandemic shutdown to a woman literally from China. All of us in our 50s. All of us, relatively speaking, introverts. Makes me feel a little better should something happen to my wife, Bast forefend.
