I had seen another post of the Nat'l Geo pix, amazing stuff. I've twice seen, from ground level, cars parked like that, one from flooding and in May, a collection of VWs in Colorado that I figured out was from the recall. They don't know what to do with them and eventually time and weather will take their toll and they'll all end up scrapped.
